Abstract
English is a lingua franca, people in the world could survive only with English. For survival, people could take efforts in order to converse effectively in English. Further, at the advent of technology, there are a number of online applications people use to improve their communication skills in English. Though Artificial Intelligence helps people in many ways with language learning, it has opposite sides too. The whole world has been trapped in Artificial Intelligence, be it business, the IT sector, or corporate companies; the influence of Artificial Intelligence is very high and the education field is not an exception either. There are a number of AI applications like ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Chatbot, Research Rabbit, Duolingo, etc. that help English language learners to create hassle-free content and also assist them in preparing effective PowerPoint presentations, and help them learn foreign languages in an easy way. Thus, the present research paper titled “Beyond Traditional Pedagogy: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of English Literature” aims to analyze the impact of Artificial Intelligence in language learning and acquisition. This research also provides a deep insight into how to use Artificial Intelligence in an effective way considering its ethical implications and its limitations.
